Place the charger on a level surface and make sure that the ventilation slots are not covered. Connect the power supply
or the 12V car adapter to the charger and afterwards to the power source (see TECHNICAL DATA). Select the charge
current by the switch „Fast charge“ / „Standard charge“ before inserting fast rechargeable batteries. We recommend
that NiCd cells are charged in the switch position „Standard charge”. Always connect the cells in the right direction for
polarity (according to the symbols in the charging slots). After inserting a cell, the charging process starts automati-
cally. This charger can charge 1 - 4 NiCd or NiMH cells of the sizes Mignon (AA) or Micro (AAA). When several cells
are to be charged, they do not need to be inserted at the same time, as the charging process starts individually. The
charge state of each cell will be indicated by the LED (see LED INDICATORS). It is normal that batteries become warm
